Fighting for Good Jobs and Quality Service
Frontier workers in West Virginia and Ashburn, VA are on strike fighting for their families' future and the future of telecommunications service in West Virginia.
Communications Workers of America members have been trying to negotiate a new contract with Frontier Communications that would hold the company to the promises made when it became the primary telecommunication services provider in West Virginia.
But after nearly ten months of negotiations, it became clear that Frontier executives were not willing to make the commitments necessary to provide good jobs for working families in the area they serve and the quality service we need to provide opportunities for our kids and keep businesses in our communities.
Frontier has let us all down. Since 2012, Frontier has cut over 500 good, middle-class jobs in West Virginia. It's no surprise that customer complaints have skyrocketed - going from 639 complaints in 2014 to 1,072 complaints in 2017. There are simply not enough employees to get the job done.
Stand with us as we stand up for good jobs and quality service.
