CWA District 2-13 Joins UMWA Caravan to Warrior Met

CWA District 2-13 joined unions and allies at the United Mine Workers rally in McCalla, AL on April 6, 2022. UMWA miners have been on strike with Warrior Met Coal for a year. The rally demonstrated the strength of solidarity and the resilience of workers fighting for justice.

CWA District 2-13 Staff Rep Elaine Harris, as well as AFA-CWA President Sara Nelson, traveled to Alabama to tell Warrior Met that the strike must end. Elaine also exhorted the crowd to donate to the Warrior Met strike fund, which is accepting contributions here.
