CWA/DE State 911 Dispatchers Bargaining Report #3

The CWA bargaining committee met with the State on Monday, June 13 and passed a proposal addressing health and safety concerns.
The State responded with a claim that an existing civilian forum satisfies the Union’s concerns contained within the proposal. The Union discussed the difference and pointed out the lack of civilian forums for one and a half years.
There were lengthy off table discussions regarding economic and other issues raised during this and previous meetings. The discussions were productive with respect to the mutually desired goal of reaching a fair agreement by the CBA end date.
The next meeting scheduled is for 6/30 in Dover.
