Duquesne Club Bargaining Update #1
The Union and the Company met on Thursday, September 9, 2010 in Greentree, PA. The Company opened up bargaining stating that they intend on negotiating with the intent on reaching a satisfactory agreement. The Union presented the Company with its comprehensive proposal on changes to the collective bargaining agreement. The Union stated that these changes were recommended based on the input from the membership.
Our next meeting will be tomorrow, Friday, September 10, 2010. The Company intends to share with the Union their proposed changes to the contract.
