Let?s Hear It for Nurses

It's National Nurses Week, a celebration aimed at raising awareness about the value of nursing and the role they play in bettering health care for all Americans. Join us in thanking the nearly 3.1 million registered nurses nationwide – including many CWA nurses – for all the critical work they do 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Did you know... 

• Americans have voted nurses the most trusted profession in America for the 13th time in 14 years that Gallup has ranked professions by honesty and ethical standards.
• Nursing is booming. It is projected to outpace all other occupations, with more than 700,000 new RN jobs by 2020.
• The Affordable Care Act has expanded opportunities for nurses to provide primary care and wellness services, as well as serve as key participants in new and innovative patient-centered care systems.
