Verizon Bargaining 2011: Report # 29

The CWA/IBEW Regional Bargaining team met today with District 2-13 Vice President Ed Mooney, District 1 Vice President, Chris Shelton and CWA attorney, Steve Weissman in an effort to resolve some of the outstanding issues. Discussions were held throughout the day and into the evening with the company in an effort to give both sides the opportunity to clearly define problems identified with proposals. The Regional Bargaining Team is scheduled to reconvene tomorrow morning.

This company needs to get serious about bargaining a fair agreement. Our members deserve a fair contract from a company that is making billions in profits from our labor.
