Tentative Agreement 3/27/18

Further information on the tentative agreement: Contract is effective from 8/6/2017 to 11:59 pm 8/7/2021 6.12% wage increase to help offset the cost of living increase and healthcare.  $1250 ratification bonus will be paid within 30 days of passing the contract. Floating holidays that were scheduled during the strike 3/4/18 to 3/27/18 will need to be rescheduled before the end of 2018. Terms of the contract still apply, they have to be on the schedule by October and taken before 12/31/2018.  Carry over vacation from 2017 needs to be taken before 5/31/2017. Carry over vacation from 2017 that was scheduled 3/4/18 to 3/27/18 can be moved to another date but has to be taken before 5/31/18. 2018 vacation that was scheduled 3/4/18 to 3/27/18 can be moved to another available date or put back in reserve if applicable.  If members need to use the 72 hour unpaid excused time to return to work, you will need to notify your supervisor about your absence.  Anyone in the bargaining unit as of ratification is covered under the job protection. No changes were made to the dental or vision plans. Medical changes do not take effect until 2019. Urgent care copays are $25 for the life of the contract.  Copays do not count towards the deductible. Prescription drug changes take effect as soon as the contract is ratified and can be put in place.  Express Scripts bought CVS pharmacy and you can now get your 90 day supply prescription medication in store or by mail.  No changes to retirees who retired in 2014 or before. Members who retired 1/1/2015 or after have changes. A town hall call (with Q & A) will happen next week, more information to come. There will be discussion at our meeting on 4/10/18 6:30 pm at 8 N. Spring Street Buckhannon, WV before we vote on the contract. Votes must be made in person on 4/10/18.
