Comcast Corliss 2022 Bargaining Report 1
The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reports:
Your Union Bargaining Committee met with the Company today April 26, 2022 in Carnegie, PA. We shared a number of proposals, based on your survey responses and the Membership meeting, with the company. Among them were proposals to limit contract labor and protection of bargaining unit work. The company showed little interest in addressing our first proposals and elected to start passing their agenda to us, including changes to your temp assignment language and PTO availability. They say they have more proposals to pass tomorrow, and if this afternoon was any indication they are coming after many of your rights again!
We are scheduled to resume bargaining tomorrow morning. There are many proposals that we still need to create, however the company has failed to provide us with necessary answers to our information requests. It is another battle that we will fight as we work towards a fair contract. Contact your Branch Rep or Steward to learn of Mobilizations and to get more details about progress at the bargaining table. Now is the time to ask what you can do to help!
