Comcast Alle-Kiske 2026 Bargaining Report #1

The Union Bargaining Committee kicked off 2026 bargaining with the Company the last two days May 6 and 7, 2026 in Carnegie, PA. We shared 19 proposals covering a wide variety of the issues and concerns you presented both on your survey responses and at the Membership meeting. Among them were proposals intended to protect work for the unit, dispatching issues, weather conditions, temporary assignments, tools and equipment, forced overtime, meal allowance, standby, holidays, vacations, and more. The proposals the company has currently passed look to add forced overtime and additional temporary assignment responsibilities. The company doesn’t seem interested in making things better for you at this point.

We are currently in recess and scheduled to resume bargaining May 18, 2026. We are prepared to bargain a fair contract and are developing additional proposals including wages. There is a wealth of information that the company still needs to provide us, and we are hopeful that will happen quickly. We have pushed an agenda of Membership empowerment and will continue to do so! We will continue to encourage the company to come to the table, fulfill our information requests, and bargain in good faith! Contact your Branch Rep or Steward to learn of upcoming Mobilizations and to get more details about progress at the bargaining table.
