AT&T Mobility

Last Saturday, CWA District 2-13 joined CWAers across the nation to inform customers at AT&T third party dealer stores about the advantages of shopping at company-owned, union-staffed stores.
This Saturday, December 11, is CWA’s national day of action against AT&T’s outsourcing, job cuts, and union busting.
Thryv members ratified their TA in December. Contracts have been extended with AT&T Mobility, AVAYA, CCI, Frontier PA, and PIW. An MOA with LifePath provides increased starting wages, and Comcast negotiations continue.
Tentative Agreements were reached and ratified with Kent County and Atlantic Broadband. Local 13000 mobilized in solidarity for a fair contract at AT&T Mobility Southwest, and Nokia bargaining moves to informal talks.
AT&T has cut over 37,000 jobs since the Tax Cut and Jobs Act went into effect two years ago.

CWA hosted 18 Call Center workers from around Virginia on July 10 and 11 for CWA activist training.
CWA District 2-13 Training Team members met in MD to share their experiences with Phase III of the [email protected] project. The success of this program is, in large part, credited with CWA’s success at the Orange contract bargaining table last year.
