The Bargaining Committee continues to fight off Comcast's demands for givebacks but have neared agreement on proposals that will improve existing contract language on shift bidding, inclement weather and training.
The Comcast Corliss and Nokia contracts were ratified by members! Current LifePath and PIW contracts have been extended. CenturyLink and Thryv are in negotiations. UPDATE: TA has been reached for CenturyLink!
The Bargaining Committee is happy to report they reached a Tentative Agreement with Comcast over the Corliss contract! Plan to attend the contract explanation and ratification vote on Wednesday, October 7 at 6PM.
Nokia and CCI (ILEC) reached Tentative Agreements this month! American Air negotiations have been postponed, and talks with LifePath continue while economic issues are on hold. Comcast Alle-Kiske and Corliss bargaining tables are still active.
The Bargaining Committee is happy to announce a tentative agreement with CCI for the ILEC bargaining unit. Plan to attend a meeting to review the contract changes and the ratification vote on Tuesday, September 29 at 6:30 PM.
Since the last meeting, significant progress has been made. The Bargaining Team and Comcast are close to reaching an agreement. Members' support throughout is appreciated by the committee!
This month: Extensions were reached with the Community College of Baltimore and Link Comm. Red Cross members took action this summer for safety at work, and CCI negotiations opened. Comcast Alle-Kiske, MWAA and Nokia negotiations continued.
Tentative Agreements were reached and ratified with Kent County and Atlantic Broadband. Local 13000 mobilized in solidarity for a fair contract at AT&T Mobility Southwest, and Nokia bargaining moves to informal talks.
The Local 13000 Bargaining Team reported productive talks over the first days of negotiations as the Bargaining Team presented the members' demands for improvement and protections to Atlantic Broadband.
The Company continues to expect higher performance from employees without increasing compensation. The Bargaining Committee will not settle for less than a fair agreement!
