Virginia Beach Wells Fargo Joins CWA

CWA District 2-13 celebrates another February organizing victory! On Thursday, February 9, workers at a Wells Fargo branch located in Virginia Beach, VA voted 7-0 to join CWA and become the fourth union branch in the country - and the second to organize with District 2-13 this month. The District Organizing Coordinator (DOC) reported: "This group of bankers and tellers stood up to Wells Fargo’s anti-union campaign and stayed united. They are excited to join the CWA family and will be part of CWA Local 2201." We welcome our newest members, and we thank the organizing team, including Sr. Campaign Lead Nick Weiner, Meggan Halvorson and DOC Terry Garner, for their hard work.
