District 2-13 Supports Workers and Families During Pandemic

CWA District 2-13 is proud to highlight the support Locals across the District have given to essential workers and families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our members have been wearing red every Thursday in solidarity with not only our CWA brothers and sisters, but with essential workers across the country.

CWA Local 2100 in Maryland was recognized earlier this month by Metro Baltimore Council AFL-CIO for their support of the COVID-19 Union Emergency Fund. The Metro Baltimore Council's fund "directly benefits union families in need and those working on the front lines during this crisis."

CWA LOCAL 13000 members and affiliates, including Workers United, helped 400 families struggling under the COVID-19 pandemic to put food on their tables. Donations to the Local's Community Services Fund helped distribute food to Philadelphia and South Jersey families in need during these difficult times.
