Windstream PA 2018 Bargaining Report #6
The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Team reports:
Talks resumed this morning, Friday September 28, 2018, as the Union and company met throughout the day, from early this morning until late tonight in an effort to narrow the divide on several major issues that stand to negatively impact the bargaining unit. We are still far apart on a number of items and have reached an agreement to extend the current contract until Friday November 9, 2018 at 11:59 PM. During the extension, your rights under the existing contract remain in full effect.
Bargaining is scheduled to resume Monday November 5, 2018. We need the Membership to use the time between now and then to mobilize and send the message to Windstream that nothing less than a fair contract is acceptable.
