Duquesne Club Bargaining Update #9
The Union and the Company met on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 to revisit the tentative agreement which was not ratified on Friday, October 1, 2010.
The new tentative agreement included:
- Reduced premiums in the 1st year with the company paying the first 5% of the increase in 2010, 2% of the increase in 2011, 3% of the increase in 2012 and 2% of the increase in 2013 with the remainder being split equally.
- Reducing the caps to 15/35 in 2011, 20/40 in 2012 and 25/45 in 2013.
- Trial scheduling night cleaners and night room attendants for a ½ hour meal period.
- All other aspects of the tentative agreement remained the same.
The new tentative agreement was voted on by the membership on Thursday, October 7, 2010 and Friday, October 8, 2010.
The new tentative agreement was ratified. The Bargaining Team would like to thank the mobilization team and the membership for all of their hard work.
