VCS Bargaining 2011: Report # 14

Your committee met with the Company again today in an attempt to negotiate a fair and equitable Agreement by Saturday August 6th. The Union committee made a presentation concerning travel allowance and there was a lot of discussion surrounding the presentation but no agreement has been reached. Further discussions will take place on this issue. Again today your committee received REJECTIONS from the Company concerning two more of our proposals but we considered this a good days since the Company only REJECTED two proposals. We’ve got a lot of work to do by the end of the day on Saturday August 6th but your committee is prepared to do whatever it takes to accomplish the goal of negotiating a fair and equitable Agreement that does not move us back to the dark ages. We need your continued support in the field and we need each of you to clearly tell the Company that we won’t go BACK.

Between now and August 6th each of us have to give it our all in order to assure that the Company removes every retrogressive demand that they have put across the table that will impact each of you and your families in a negative fashion. Let them know “WE WILL NOT GO BACK”.
