Verizon Bargaining 2011: Report # 31

The Union’s Regional Bargaining Team met with the company today and exchanged several counter proposals addressing outstanding bargaining issues. Efforts of our striking members, organized labor and our fellow CWA sisters and brothers across the country are having an impact at the bargaining table. There has been some movement on a few issues at the bargaining table but as you can imagine there are many more items left to be resolved.

We will continue to push this process along in order to address the Union’s important demands that are still on the table. Your commitment to this fight has been incredible but it must keep growing. Friends of Labor are coming out in droves to support our fight like never before and we are appreciative of everyone’s efforts.

Actions are now taking place at wireless stores as well as Fiber Solution Call Centers all across the country and it’s obvious that this is having an impact.
