VCS Bargaining 2011: Report # 29

Your Bargaining Team met with the Company on Tuesday October 11th and again today, Wednesday October 12th. There were discussions concerning several different subjects and during these discussions your Union Bargaining Team presented the Company with a new Health Care proposal that would improve your current coverage. The Company also gave counterproposals to some of their earlier proposals that had been rejected by your Committee. These newest proposals by VCS were improvements over their original retrogressive demands but they are still not where they should be considering the profitability of Verizon. Your committee will continue to review the Company’s proposals in an attempt to resolve some of our many differences. We are scheduled to meet with the Company again tomorrow to continue our march to a FAIR AND EQUITABLE AGREEMENT. With your continued support we will prevail in our efforts to reach a satisfactory Agreement that we can all be proud of and that will enable all of us to move forward together.
