SuperMedia Bargaining 2012: Report Dated March 27, 2012
Meetings took place in Philadelphia this past Thursday and Friday. Your Bargaining team made information requests regarding the economic impacts of Supermedia’s proposals. Supermedia responded on Friday with the dramatic costs that their initial proposal would have on our members. An astounding $3.1M or an average of $15,230 over the life of the agreement based on the 206 members in Pennsylvania alone.
The parties have agreed to temporarily suspend formal Pennsylvania negotiations and engage in off table discussions in an effort to address responsible settlement alternatives to bridge the chasm that exists between us.
It’s important to let your management know that you support your bargaining team and expect a fair contract that values your contributions to the business.
