AT&T Legacy T Bargaining Report #59
With bargaining on local issues at a standstill, discussions continued on pension issues and, particularly, improving the Cash Balance Account. Internally, the committee studied different alternatives for improvements in the CBA and examined language in multiple Contracts on absence.
While we wish there was more to report, things have slowed down considerably. However, all the tables have been in discussions with each other, and the unity among them remains strong as we wrestle with our own Local issues and work together in formulating responses on the national issues – health care, wages, pensions and employment security.
Continue working safely and letting the Company know, in every way you can, that no matter how long it takes, you will continue to support your bargaining team.
