AT&T Legacy T Bargaining Report #57

Subcontracting was the major issue at the bargaining table today. We discussed a Union Proposal to address moving work back into our bargaining unit that has been subcontracted or moved to management, both here and offshore. Another proposal addressed Construction Tech work that has been given to subcontractors. After the formal meeting, subcommittee dialogue continued on absence.

Informal discussions also continued on improving our Cash Balance Account. Subcommittees will continue to meet tomorrow and perhaps through the weekend, but we will most likely not issue another report until Monday.

As people celebrate Flag Day, it again reminds us how AT&T has the ability to make the American Dream a reality for its employees but instead has chosen to move in the opposite direction.
