Bargaining Update: June 20, 2013
Bargaining began this week for a new contract covering 1,600 CWA members at Frontier Communications in West Virginia. The CWA bargaining team told the company that our goal is to negotiate a contract "that protects good union jobs and that gives our members the opportunity to grow along with the Company."
Piedmont Airlines Flight Attendants are picketing major Piedmont-serviced airports to raise awareness over stalled contract talks. The National Mediation Board could decide soon whether to release the Flight Attendants to go on strike. Read about a recent action at Harrisburg International Airport's terminal here.
