Bargaining Report #3: Frontier Communications
The Union and the Company met today. During the meeting, the Union asked clarifying questions regarding a number of proposals received from the company. The Union passed an additional proposal on wage credit procedures and responded to the Company’s request for mediation language.
The Company presented two additional proposals to eliminate several letters of understanding.
We are only four (4) days into bargaining and it continues to be clear the Company’s goal is to reduce costs at our expense, while eliminating language that protects our work. Now is the time to get engaged! Wear your CWA braclet every day until we have a contract. Stay in contact with your Local Mobilizer.
We have recessed for today and are scheduled to reconvene on Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
