Bargaining Report #18: Frontier Communications

Bargaining resumed today.

The Union proposed modifications to the Overtime Administration Letter of Agreement. The Union also made a counter proposal to the Company’s offer to resolve a portion of the Unfair Labor Practice charge that we filed against them. The Company clarified a portion of their initial proposal by providing additional language. Our lawyers are reviewing the latest information.

The Bargaining Committee wants to thank everyone who attended the Fighting For Our Future Rally for their strong show of support. It was a great success, with great comradery, good food, and dynamic speakers.

The membership has sent a strong message with a 94% vote in favor of authorizing the CWA Executive Board to call a strike against Frontier.

Our contract expires at 11:59 p.m. on August 2, 2013.
