Bargaining Report #2: Frontier Communications
Bargaining with Frontier continued today with the Union and the Company having two meetings.
During the meetings, the Union provided proposals that will secure work for the bargaining unit and addressed the grievance process.
The Company presented proposals on work schedules, changes to the the forced transfer language, additional flexibility with contracting, vacation, and overtime.
Based upon the Company’s proposals, it is abundantly clear the Company wants to GUT the contract. Union members have fought and sacrificed for this language that provides us the standard of living that we have today.
Now is the time we must stand strong, MOBILIZE, and take charge of our futures.
We have recessed for today and are scheduled to reconvene tomorrow.
