Bargaining Report #55: Frontier Communications
The Union and the Company met today. The Union provided two counter-proposals on Technological Change and Vacation Scheduling. The Bargaining Committee made a proposal to maintain the Independent Medical Examiner language in the disability plan. During the meeting a discussion was held regarding the management structure of Frontier and how it does not fit the language contained in Article 12 Grievance Meeting Procedure. The Union also provided a revised information request on healthcare.
Upon exiting the meeting, the Company found Local Officers representing our members across the state outside the meeting room. The Officers traveled to Charleston to demonstrate their support and solidarity for your Bargaining Committee. The message from Local Officers to the Company is simple: NEGOTIATE A FAIR CONTRACT NOW!
BE INFORMED! BE INVOLVED! IT’S YOUR FIGHT! IT’S YOUR CONTRACT!
