Alcatel-Lucent 2014 Bargaining Report #8
The Company presented the Union with a proposal on how they will implement “workforce transformation” as part of the “Shi(f)t Plan”.
While the plan does include the ability of people affected by their plan to relocate to other locations, their proposal takes away all the Permanent Transfer benefits in Article 13 and puts the expense solely on the heads of our Installers. It is treating these moves as if they were personal special request transfers instead of moves that are caused by company action. That is completely unacceptable.
