CWA - CSC Bargaining Update - November 14, 2014

CWA Local 2222 - CSC members,

Your Bargaining Committee has reached a tentative agreement with the Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) Gateway Center Contract.

It is fair to say that Management came to the negotiations asking for many concessions from our members. Your bargaining team spent considerable hours fighting to keep our hard earned benefits.

As with any successful negotiations, both parties usually walk away from the table feeling as though they had to make concessions in order to reach an tentative agreement.

CWA Local 2222 will be notifying the CSC Members about the terms and conditions of the tentative agreement right away. Your Bargaining Committee feels that under the current circumstances we have bargained the best offer available at this time. Local 2222 will be recommending approval of the tentative agreement.

Our members will be receiving the tentative changes along with their voting ballot in the very near future. I encourage those members to review the tentative changes and cast their vote as soon as they are prepared. Time lines and instructions will be included in the mailout.

The tentative changes to the Contract are posted in the "President's Corner" of the CWA Local 2222 web page. They are password protected so you will need a user name and password to access that area.
