CWA-PIW Bargaining Report 04

The Union and the company met again today, Thursday, October 27, 2016. In the morning session, PIW responded to CWA’s counter on discipline. CWA spent the remainder of the morning reviewing PIW’s proposals from yesterday. During the afternoon, there were discussions surrounding both PIW’s proposed substance abuse policy and discipline counter proposal. CWA presented a counter to PIW arbitration’s proposal and in turn PIW responded to CWA’s Job Posting and Bidding policy.


Both sides continue to engage in discussions surrounding contract language. We are scheduled to meet again Tuesday, November 15 and Wednesday, November 15th, 2016.
