Frontier WV/VA 2017 Bargaining: Report 08

The Union and the Company met this week. The Company presented a proposal to eliminate the West Virginia State Based Call Center Work Routing. The Company also provided information in response to the Union’s Pension and Healthcare Data Requests. The Union Bargaining Committee continues to review the proposals the Company has made thus far. Additionally, the Union started analyzing the Data Requests. The Union Bargaining Committee is committed to this process and we are willing to meet until a fair contract is negotiated. Our focus is Job Security, Healthcare, and Contracting – the issues that are most important to our members. The Union Bargaining Committee wants to thank all locals who participated in the tail gate rallies this week. Keep up the great work! The Bargaining Committees will not be meeting formally again until July 17, 2017. Bargaining Reports will resume that week. Both Committees have agreed to have informal meetings during the break. The Company agreed to send data requests via email as they come available and the Union agreed to send any questions we may have. MOBILIZE! BE INFORMED! BE INVOLVED! IT’S YOUR FIGHT! IT’S YOUR CONTRACT!
