CCI ILEC 2017 Bargaining: Report 5

The Union and Company met today, Wednesday, September 13, 2017 to continue bargaining. Talks today included positive discussions on the following subjects: contract labor notification, group life insurance and health care benefits for 2018. Many problems in the Sickness and Disability administration plan remain. Also, the company has proposals on title flexibility and physical standards testing that will harm our Members as they are currently presented. The company owes us many answers and explanations on these two proposals.

We will meet again tomorrow and Friday to continue talks. Please make it a point to get to the Gibsonia conference room on Monday, September 18th at 6:00PM for an up to the minute bargaining update and explanations of the potential changes in health care.
