It is with great excitement the Orange Bargaining Team can announce that we have a Tentative Agreement with AT&T Mobility. The Bargaining Team has met or exceeded all of our goals. We could not have done this without your support and mobilization. Details of the Agreement and the process of ratification will follow shortly. The latest bargaining information for Frontier Communications and the Psychiatric Institute of Washington.
As we continue bargaining, wages remain one of the last obstacles for a fair and equitable contract. We have been stuck on wages for a couple of weeks, but we are finally seeing the company moving in the right direction.
The Bargaining Team reported progress in two areas, but there is much to be done. Negotiations continue through the week.
Today’s report from the Presidential Task Force on Worker Organizing and Empowerment, chaired by Vice President Kamala Harris and co-chaired by Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh, provides a roadmap for federal agencies to leverage the authority of the executive branch in order to build worker power. Today marks the end of Week 2 of Bargaining the Orange Contract. The Union Bargaining committee spent a lot of time with specific proposals for each group in the Orange Contract.
CCI and CWA passed proposals across the bargaining table today. Negotiations resume next week.
CWA and Frontier Communications of Pennsylvania reached an agreement on a 4-year extension to contracts that expired on November 30, 2020.
At the latest meeting, contract labor was discussed, as well as proposals for cleaner facilities and allowances for apparel. Negotiations continue.
