On Thursday, March 19th, we met with the Company and gave them a proposal on Article 18, Sick Leave, and reached a tentative agreement on Article 11, Seasonal Employee Transfers. The Company gave us a counter proposal on Article 13, Voluntary Furlough and Article 15, Furlough Benefits. The Seniority article does not include the integration of US and AA seniority rosters. That will be done in a separate Letter of Agreement and the Union is continuing to work on that. Article 8 only deals with how seniority is used after the contract is ratified.
Our next scheduled bargaining session is in Dallas the week of March 30th.
