Atlantic Broadband Bargaining Update #2

The Union and the Company met on Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Blairsville, PA to continue further discussion regarding the initial proposals. The Union received information requested regarding the Company's benefits plans and various statistics regarding the membership such as overtime hours worked, participation in 401(k) and other benefits. We discussed conceptually, the creation of the bilingual CCR classification. We also discussed the concept of DM's being on-call to do call out work. Please discuss these topics with your bargaining representative so they can be your voice during negotiations.

The Union bargaining team will be meeting again prior to our next negotiating session to prepare a proper response to the Company's proposal. Our next scheduled bargaining sessions are tentatively scheduled for September 8th, 14th, 15th and 23rd, 2010. Have safe and happy Labor Day!
