AT&T Legacy T Bargaining Report #42
Ratification Votes Due June 26
A Contract Explanation meeting was held yesterday near Baltimore, MD for Local Presidents from around the country. The team reviewed, in detail, every change in the Tentative Agreement and answered questions from the Locals in preparation for the ratification vote.
The team explained why they believe this is a good Contract and they achieved everything they possibly could have during this round of negotiations.
This agreement must be ratified by June 26th in order to receive wage increases (and other things) retroactive to the expiration of the last Agreement.
Within the next few weeks you should be receiving your ballot and an expanded Contract Explanation from your Locals. Each Local will be conducting its own ratification vote and reporting the results to the National office.
If questions come in that have not been answered in the Contract Explanation, we will post them and answer them on this web site.
Your Bargaining Team,
Bill Bates
Laura Unger
Lois Grimes-Patow
Martha Flagge
Mary Ellen Mazzeo
LaNell Piercy
Roy Hegenbart
Cindy Neumeyer
