AT&T Legacy T Bargaining Report #68
In case any of you missed last night’s national Union call, the main message was that, while there has been serious progress on Local issues at two of the four tables, the big economic issues – wages, health care, and traditional pensions – are still far from settled. We cannot slack off on mobilization now. If anything, we need to give the Company a harder push to present us with proposals on these issues that preserve and improve our standard of living.
Since we have resolved so many of our Local issues, the main focus of our work is now on the big money items. Our team has been meeting among ourselves, working with some of the other teams and the CWA Research department on these issues to try to come up with a solution. No formal bargaining session has been scheduled with the AT&T Bargaining Team at this time.
