American Red Cross
This month Coalition of American Red Cross Unions, which includes member in CWA Locals 2201, 13000 and 13500, reported that in June:
[...] our union put out a call for us to tell management how we feel about how the American Red Cross has treated us during the COVID-19 pandemic. We spoke out loudly and clearly.
Together, as members from all of our unions across the country, we wrote nearly 100 letters and presented them to management in June. But the Red Cross has said nothing to us about the fears, struggles and anxieties we have experienced as frontline workers during this pandemic. We have made prorposals to Red Cross that we feel will help us get through this time together. Proposals like hazard pay, and paid time off to allow us to safely quarantine when needed.

Negotiations opened with CCI over the ILEC contract this month. The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reported:
[...] The Union committee spent the morning session picking apart the company’s concessionary proposals. We also offered proposals that would address company concerns while protecting and benefitting the Membership. We passed a number of additional proposals this afternoon including economics and our wage package. The company recessed without any meaningful discussion or effort to work towards agreement on any of our open proposals. We are in recess until September 9, 2020. We have offered to meet with the company at any time between now and then, including tonight, in order to continue working toward a fair contract.
