Bargaining Report #24: Frontier Communications

The Union and the Company met today.

The Union made two data requests. One request was for detailed information concerning Call Outs and the other was focused on Retiree Healthcare. The next scheduled meeting with the Company is Tuesday, August 13, 2013.

The Bargaining Committee participated in a conference call earlier today with a CWA Financial Analyst and the Research Department. The Analyst summarized Frontier’s quarterly report as anything but dismal. Just like Maggie’s email to all employees, the Analyst sees Frontier moving in the right direction. He also agrees results for the second quarter were strong.

The Bargaining Committee continues to examine Company proposals to ensure the best interest of our members is met. The Union’s agenda, provided by our members, is still focused on Job Security, Wages, Compensation, and Health Care. We are committed to negotiating the best contract.
