Bargaining Report #37: Frontier Communications

The Union and the Company met today.

The Company passed their Call Center Wage proposal. The Union Bargaining Chair expressed disappointment that the Company’s proposal will reduce the base pay, increase the work week, and put a percentage of wages at risk for consultants. It is now 15 days until the contract extension expires. It is time for the Company to get real.

Your Bargaining Committee is doing everything possible to move your agenda forward and reach a fair agreement with this Company. However, bargaining is a give and take process and so far they have demonstrated all they want to do is take. The Company needs to get serious about bargaining a fair contract. We deserve a share from a successful company making profit from our labor.
