Bargaining Report 66 Legacy T

Our Legacy T met with the company all day today. Most of the discussion centered on dealing with the unfair ways the quotas are administered for our call center members. The company was not interested in adding any improved language to our contract but a small amount of progress was made. The rest of the day focused on our watermarks and we were not able to move any closer to an agreement.

We have just received news that the members of the IBEW rejected their contract extension by 85.7%. We will be discussing the implications of that vote.

The “Committee of 8” (the Dist. 1, 4, 9 and T&T VPs) and the elected bargaining committee representative from each committee and the bargaining Chairs are meeting this Sunday to discuss the progress (or lack of progress) at the tables.

Next week we will be holding a Union Hall Call with CWA AT&T members from the Northeast, Midwest, West and Legacy T.

Join us on July 10 at 8 pm ET. Click here to register: http://www.cwa-union.org/attcall

During the call you will hear updates from leaders and activists who have been on the front lines of mobilization and bargaining. And we will answer questions that you may have about what's ahead.
