Breezeline 2023: Bargaining Report 1

The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reports:

The Union Bargaining Committee opened negotiations with the company with a number of bargaining sessions the last 2 days, January 10 and 11, 2023. The company entered this round of bargaining with several proposals designed to strip your contract of vacation opportunities, add advance notice for time off and others. We made a series of proposals based on your bargaining surveys and feedback which seek to maintain or improve your bargained for protections and benefits. While we have had some early success in holding off some of the company demands there is much work to be done. Talks have been productive through the first 2 days and we hope to move the company off more of their demands as well as introduce our economic and wage package when bargaining resumes on February 21, 2023. Please contact your Rep with any questions about bargaining or upcoming mobilizations.

In Solidarity,

Your Union Bargaining Team
