Brightspeed PA 2023 Bargaining: Report 2
On Thursday, October 26, 2023, the CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reported:
After meeting with the company numerous times since Monday morning, this afternoon we were able to come to a tentative agreement. Highlights of the agreement include:
- A 5 year term
- Annual wage increases which compound to 14.8%
- Improved Boot Allowance
- Improved Bereavement Leave
- Improved Layoff Allowance
- Improved PTO Scheduling Language
- Improved Tour Differentials
- Improved Standby Pay
- 3 Additional Holidays
- And more…
A comprehensive list of all changes to the contract will be available soon for you to review. We will hold a contract explanation meeting, answer all questions, AND have the ratification vote on:
