Catalist 2025 Bargaining Report #4

The CWA Local 2336 Bargaining Committee reported from Catalist negotiations on Tuesday, May 13, 2025:
Dear fellow members,
Your CWA bargaining committee met Tuesday, May 13, with the Catalist management bargaining committee to continue to try and reach a successor contract before our current contract expires on June 30, 2025.
During this session, the Union presented 8 proposals: Layoffs and Severance, No Strike/No Lockout, Board Representation, Benefits, Compensatory Time, Establishment of New Titles, Management Rights and Remote Work. These proposals represent the remainder of the articles that Union intends to initially present to Catalist during this successor contract negotiation.
Catalist had the most questions regarding our proposal for the Establishment of New Titles and Board Representation articles.
After both sides had the opportunity to caucus, the Union sent a counter to Catalist’s initial counter of the Dues Deduction proposal. In addition, the Union provided further clarification to Catalist on the Establishment of New Titles proposal.
The Union also sent Catalist multiple proposed bargaining dates for June 2025.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 29, 2025. From this point forward, we expect most of the work to involve negotiating the articles we have already presented to Catalist for their review. We would appreciate your support and input in helping win the most favorable contract possible for the Union.
Bargaining is a whole team effort. Please change your Slack profile picture to the Catalist Union logo on the day of our next scheduled bargaining session, Thursday, May 29, to show support for the CWA Bargaining Committee.
