CCI CLEC 2018 Bargaining: Report 2

Bargaining continued between the Union and the Company today, Thursday, February 8, 2018. Today's talks started with a recap of open issues on the table. An agreement was reached in principle which provides improved discipline language. Other issues today included further discussions on a Senior Network Tech title and travel reimbursements. The Union introduced proposals that would ensure the Membership receive the training it needs to perform your jobs better and to limit the company's ability to contract out work. Many other open items from yesterday's discussions remain on the table.

Talks are scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, February 9, 2018. There are many open issues related to your jobs that still need resolved. We hope to take more steps forward tomorrow and possibly move into talks over economics too. Remember to contact your Unit President or Secretary for additional information.
