CCI-CLEC 2026 Bargaining: Report #1

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, CWA Local 13000's bargaining committee reported:

The Union bargaining committee met with the company the last three days, Tuesday January 20, 2026, through today, Thursday January 22, 2026. Many factors were discussed and considered during our talks, including decreased customer base, job security, and the best path forward for the Network Technicians in the CLEC Unit. After much discussion, we have reached an agreement to merge Network Techs into the ILEC contract. Some of the changes include:

A general wage increase upon ratification
A 2nd general wage increase upon ratification of the ILEC contract later this year
Title change and merge into CO Tech group
Training opportunities
