CCI ILEC 2020 Bargaining Report 7

The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reports they reached a Tentative Agreement with CCI for the ILEC bargaining unit:

The Union bargaining committee met with the company a number of times over the last 2 days in an effort to secure an agreement on a new contract. We’ve worked since August 26 to make that happen and we are happy to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with the company today. 

Changes to the contract include:

• A new 3 year term expiring on September 30, 2023
• Yearly general wage increases
• Performance Bonus enhancements (including a new MOU)
• Retiree telephone allowances
• Meal allowance
• Boot allowance
• Apparel allowance
• Lay-off Allowance
• Tech change
• Training
• Work performed by supervisors
• Bereavement leave
• Call out/Standby policy
• Performance reviews
• MOU on Disability
