CCI-ILEC 2023 Bargaining Report #7
The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reported on Tuesday, September 19, 2023:
We met with the company today, September 19, 2023. Today’s discussions, again, were largely spent on economics. We spent much of the day working on differentials, allowances, wages and more. Progress was slow as the company continues to exhibit no urgency in coming to an agreement. Off record conversations failed to spark any movement as well. The company seems determined to strip your contract of every bargained-for right. Bargaining is scheduled to resume tomorrow and we only have 2 days scheduled before the contract expires. The time to mobilize is now! For additional information contact your bargaining representative.
