CCI (ILEC) Final Bargaining Report: April 11, 2012
The Tentative Agreement reached by the Union and Company Bargaining Committees on Wednesday, 04/04/12, was voted on this evening by Local 13000/Unit 104 members in Branches 1, 2, and 3. Recommended by the Union Bargaining Committee, it passed.
The member’s solidarity and support of the Union Bargaining Committee since the last contract expired on Friday, 09/30/11, which the Company refused to extend, was instrumental in helping to mitigate hardships that would’ve resulted from their proposals.
As the provisions and terms of the new contract are implemented, it’s imperative that members further familiarize themselves with the new language and then contact a Unit Job Steward or Branch Representative to ask questions or clarify how it’s administered.
The Union Bargaining Committee recognizes and appreciates all the members' tenacity!
