CenturyLink PA 2020 Bargaining Report #5
The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reports:
The Union bargaining committee met with the company a number of times over the last 3 days in an effort to secure an agreement on a new contract. We’ve worked the last several weeks to make that happen and today we are happy to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with the company.
Changes to the contract include:
- A new 3 year term expiring on October 31, 2023
- Yearly general wage increases
- 1 time boot allowance during the agreement
- 401k auto-enroll for new hires
- Training language
- Daily standby
- Improved differential
- Better scheduling language
- Improved holiday language and pay treatment
Benefits we protected include:
- OT after 8 or 10 hours worked in a day
- Double time provisions
- 1 ½ for hours worked on Sundays
- 8 (or 10) hour work days
