Comcast AlleKiske 2023 Bargaining Report 9
The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reported:
The Union committee met with the company over the last two days, February 27 and 28, 2024. The Union’s focus during these sessions was to continue to fight for fair wages but the company continues to have other plans. Even now, after 10 months of bargaining, the company failed to get the picture. Instead of coming to the table ready to get serious about wages, the company chose to introduce new proposals that would change how Holidays are scheduled and make it more difficult to secure vacation time. We continue to present documentation to the company supporting our pursuit of better wages and working conditions and the company responds by seeking additional givebacks!
The Union committee is going to continue to pressure the company to come to a fair agreement and will be having off table conversations with the company through the end of the week. Stay tuned for updates and, as always, reach out to your Rep for additional information about bargaining.
